It's all about fat! In general, mixed, bags popcorn with butter and seasonings in an emotional state, solid. The same goes for the guy in movies. There's so fat / butter on the popcorn, and that's what the seasoning to stick.

When I was at home popcorn ever season in the pot with the beans and now again, after they erupted. If you are for even more flavor, try oil-infusion with garlic or herbs.
